We had one person at the wedding, a friend on my BIL, who practically invited himself to a wedding, didn't take his place card and seat at the parents table and in the end of the day he didn't even bring a gift or a check!! I was so mad!!!
Would you mention it to him?

I don't know what I would do. I hate creating drama, but this guy just sounds like a jerk that needs to be put in his place.

Mention it to your BIL and maybe he'll talk to him for you. Other than that there isn't much you can do, some people are just rude and they stay that way.

I have a big mouth so I would say something...however I have learned that no matter how much you want to-or how completely right you are to say something once and idiot always an idiot.

PegaLega, you are absolutely right, as my DH said we'll just consider him to be an idiot and try not to do anything with him ever again.
BIL was very surprised and offered to pay for him, which we said was not necessary.
