No need to collect bail...

I calmed the beast that is my MIL with two hours of 'American Idol' last night. LMAO. I just put it on and she sat there for two hours...I was like 'it's like Indian Idol only it existed FIRST' and she was intrigued.

I never thought I'd say it, but thank God for Fox.

Then this morning DH and I shoveled at 5 a.m....came in and she told us she found out her job was closed today. She must've thought she could just sit around our house while we went to work (my job NEVER closes) and I guess she was irritating DH because at that point, his job was probably closing. He didn't want her to know that, so he pretended like he was getting ready for work, told her to pack her stuff, and he told me 'she's gotta go!'

I think he overheard her say something to me about what I was packing him for lunch...which I just brushed off with a 'well this is what he gets and if he wants something else, he can pack his OWN lunch'...but I think he was just not. feelin'. it.

HAHA nahh...I was an ice queen though. Passed out shortly after Idol. I don't, however, think this will happen again. I think the cats freaked her out a bit. Hooray for the kitties!!!!
