No show nerve!
I was at a friends house the other day and a friend of mine was there. This friend was veryclose to me at one point and i actually asked her to be my BM but stressed to her that i knew she was pregnant and that she was due 2 weeks before the wedding date and that I would understand if she declined the request. SHe was so happy to be asked but she knew she could not accept due to it being so close to her due date. And i completely understood. But she said No matter what unless she was delivering that day she wouldbe at the wedding.
Well she had th baby 2 weeks before the wedding...and she kept saying she was still coming to the weddin and she already had a sitter thatlived 2 mins from the reception hall. PERFECT!!
Well the day before the wedding she calls one of the other BM, NOT me and says 'Tell Jenn I wont be able to come to the wedding. She wont even notice Iam not there.' Her husband came though.
I was annoyed but got over it. Until this weekend. She comes up to me and says, 'so when are we getting thank you cards?'
I was like you are getting a bill not a thank you. Your husbands gets the thank you.
