a coworker of mine got married while we were on our honeymoon last year...so we did not go...I sent a gift from their registry (I even got confirmation from Fortunoffs that it was sent)
well a few months after the wedding...one coworker got a TY with a pic...another got a TY...no pic...I have not received anything...
My last day of work is Friday...should I ask him if he ever received the gift? or just let it go (another coworker is getting married, I will not attend...but I just sent a gift - and they are friendly) do you think he just screwed up the TYs...or that he never got it...
what would you say?

Re: no thank you
hmmm - soup bowls are harder to bring up! LOL
I agree that you should make sure he got them - not for the sake of getting the TY at this point but just to make sure he received what you paid for.

Re: no thank you
I know this is a serious concern of Erica's, but I'm sitting here giggling thinking about how to work soup bowls into a conversation. Thanks for making this morning a bit more enjoyable!

Re: no thank you
I would ask if they got it. None of the gifts that were sent to us from Fortunuoffs had information about who sent the gift. We had to call the store to find out each time.

I would definitely bring it up casually! Work up the courage ... you can do it!

Re: no thank you
I would ask him - if I go to the trouble of buying a gift for someone, I expect at least a verbal thank you. Honestly some people are so rude.
I DID IT!! Thank you so much ladies for giving me the courage...
we sit with each other one period...I just sat down and said...'did you ever get your soup bowls'...I'm sure he was confused as hell...then I said...I just ordered X's gift online...and I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to do that...
he asked me if I got a TY...i said no...so thats why I thought maybe you never got it...he said the wife took care of all of the TYs (typical) so he will ask her!!
ARE YOU PROUD OF ME!!!

Re: no thank you
Applause!!!!!
Good going. I'm glad too that they did send you a thank you and got the gift. It was more an oversight than anything. Good going!
