So about 45 minutes ago Im sitting at my desk and I realize the floor is like moving/shaking. It went on for like a good 7-10 seconds. I get up and the guy in the cubical near me says um did you feel the floor moving? I say yes. Then my boss and another guy come out fo their offices and say the same thing. Someone suggests it was the wind and the guys in the office said that was not the wind- they know what that feels like. So anyway everyone is like um that felt like an earthquake. So my boss says 'coffee.' And a bunch of us just left. We are on floor 61 of 30 Rock. I go down and the security guy says they didn't feel anything, only people on the upper floors did. I went for a walk. DH said nothing was on the news. I went back in and spoke to the security guy. And he said they found out they are filming something on the 65h floor in the Rainbow room for mtv. And we were feeling the vibration. I come back up and my boss said he heard it was for the friken Jonas Brothers. Im so mad. I genuinly thought I may die and was so scared. Literally Im still shaking a little cus I was shaking when i left. And I dont care for the Jonas brothers to begin with. I cant effen believe that that seriously made us think there was an actual earthquake!

yeah i just read your email and was like um what

is that why u called my cell? i couldnt answer cuz i was in the middle of a cupcake session.

apparently she was not phased by the earthquake in the building lol

Ya thats why I called your cell. And then I called linds and jess and dana cus they are all in thwe city and I wanted to see if they could feel it. LOL thank god none of them answered- they would think Im insane!

My office was creaking all day yesterday with that wind, and I'm not even as high up as you.

Yesterday the guys in the offices near windows could feel the wind a lot. So when that happened today, they knew it wasnt from wind. They said ti felt too different. Apparently 200 girls jumping up and down can shake a 65 floor building!

Oh yes, I heard this guy in my office say he lit a match and the wind coming through the window blew it out! I felt like I was in a ship with all the creaking...it creeps me out! I was only on the fifth floor for years so it took me a little time to get used to it.

I'm really not surprised. Last summer they were at Bryant Park during the summer concert series. In all the years they've done it, I've NEVER seen it so mobbed! I usually walk through the park to see who is playing...forget it, you couldn't even get on that side of the street. There were barricades all along 6th and they had 41st closed with cops everywhere!
