NOT NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION BUT YOUR PLANS

Of things you hope to accomplish, your plans, your dreams, your hopes etc. Let's hear em

I will start:

Eat better, less skipped meals

Save more - less trips to 9 West and the hat store, I promise Roger no more hats...LOL

Seriously look for a home

Maybe seriously TTC

Work on my business plan

Work out seriously

Continue learning and growing in my faith

That's all

Re: NOT NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION BUT YOUR PLANS

In Bklyn or Queens, Roger is doing the looking, when he sees something he think I will like he will make an appt for us to see it together. He told me I get too disappointed, when I read the description, then when I see the real deal. He said that I have to go in with an open mind and see the future/value of the house, with our stuff in it and it fixed up the way we like etc, etc I guess I want a dream home already done with everything, all I have to do is move in

PS does such a home exist???

Eat better now that the holidays are over. Hubby and I renewed our gym memebership.
Hubby is starting to do a modified Atkins, he is cutting out most carbs.
Cut out coffee, and get pregnant , and just to start to feel better about myself

Re: NOT NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION BUT YOUR PLANS

My number one plan is to go back to school. After years of going back and forth, I am finally going through with it - classes start January 29th. The corporate lifestyle is no longer in line with what DH and I want for ourselves and our future children. Although it will mean a major financial sacrifice, we are both in line with our future goals - I just need 18-24 months to get there. I am so excited, I can not wait for this journey to begin.

Good question!
Hmmm....

To be more organized! Get rid of clutter!

Work on saving money (and shopping less!!) so we can get on track for buying a house

Have a great european vacation with DH in lieu of a party for my 30th in the fall!

So weird - I just posted and now its gone.

Shamma: I dont know if that kind of house exists but I know I cant afford it :D If its any consolation, there is something nice about doing certain things over yourself b/c you get to pick exactly what YOU like instead of living with other peoples choices b/c its not in need of fixing.

Go Brooklyn!

Re: NOT NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION BUT YOUR PLANS

Shamma ... I was thinking about this this morning. I like telling everyone my plans, b/c then I have a goal to make them happen.

My 2004 plans:

--> To save, save, save - we want more cashola in the Bank!

--> To pay more attention to ME -- tone up and get back in shape - especially with my running; drink more water; treat myself to a manicure more often, etc ...

--> To pay more attention to US - we've been so busy with the house and school that sometimes we forget to really enjoy our 'alone' time.

--> Try not to be so sensitive about things I have no control over.

--> Finish up school (graduate in May) and apply to another program

--> And MAYBE try to TTC at the end of 2004 - not ready today, but who knows by then!

Edited to add:

--> To try to cook more and learn new recipes!

Re: NOT NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION BUT YOUR PLANS

Be more productive at work. Sometimes I slack off too much, and I get paid according to how much I produce. So I need to really stick with it.

Pay off the remaining credit cards I have as soon as possible.

Start looking for a house! Yay!!

Stop going to bed at 4 AM!! I can't keep up with my DH's schedule, and I just need to admit it already.

Of course eat better (I LOVE junk food)

workout (never had but would like to get motivated and start)

Stop procrastinating. I will finish my masters this year and will student teach in the fall......I drive myself crazy thinking I won't like it,

Get focused and do all the things needed before I graduate

Happy New Year all
