NOT NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION BUT YOUR PLANS

Original post by shamma

Of things you hope to accomplish, your plans, your dreams, your hopes etc. Let's hear em

I will start:

Eat better, less skipped meals

Save more - less trips to 9 West and the hat store, I promise Roger no more hats...LOL

Seriously look for a home

Maybe seriously TTC

Work on my business plan

Work out seriously

Continue learning and growing in my faith

That's all

I am going to organize my life, save money, and be all around more responsible.

IF IT KILLS ME!

So weird - I just posted and now its gone.

Shamma: I dont know if that kind of house exists but I know I cant afford it :D If its any consolation, there is something nice about doing certain things over yourself b/c you get to pick exactly what YOU like instead of living with other peoples choices b/c its not in need of fixing.

Go Brooklyn!

Stef, I guess you are right, your own touch on it. I have seen some homes today, I have my eye on a few and yes GO BROOKLYN

well, my life is changing a LOT in 2004...

I'll be re-establishing my life in NY, start a new career, buy/build a house

ah, there's more, but thats overwhelming enough...

Like Lisa, there are alot of changes in store for me already for 2004- new baby, leave of absence from school for the year (first time I have been out of school in 25 years!! no joke).

My plans are to enjoy every second of this precious year with my DH and our son before I have to go back to work. Oh, and to finally do my wedding album

Re: NOT NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION BUT YOUR PLANS

Well, it's a bit hard for me to answer this question right now because DH is looking for a new job, and he has a couple of leads - one here in the city and another one in New Hampshire. So I don't know where I will be a year from now (or even 6 months from now). So, if we do move to NH, then I will be looking for a new job and a new apartment, with the thought in mind that we will be purchasing a house soon (maybe in 2005). But if we stay in the city, then we will be looking for a home to buy in 2004.

Other than that, I hope to save money (which is hard considering Sephora opened up a block away) and stay healthy. I also hope to learn to be less of a control freak (something I am working on in therapy and it's going slowly - it's not easy to give up control!)

I have a couple 'plans'. I made sure not to make to many.

1. Go to Church, and encourage DH to do the same.
2. Get preggo
3. Buy a new car/jeep by mid summer
4. Save, save and save money for our condo.

I love reading these. These are all realistic plans, do not beat yourselves up ladies, take it all one day at a time. Maybe by mid-year we can do an update thread to see how we all are doing.
