not thrilled with video
I picked up my video last night. I keep trying to convince myself that I like it, but I'm just not happy with it. I'm trying to decide whether or not I should approach them about re-editing it. Here's a list of my concerns.
1) There aren't any pre-ceremony shots of my DH.
2) There are comments from each of the 14 members of our bridal party, but they edited out the things my DH and I each said into the camera before the ceremony.
3) There aren't any shots of cocktail hour.
4) There are plenty of dance floor shots, but there aren't any shots of guests who aren't dancing. I didn't expect table shots per se, but I thought the videographer would have moved around the room a bit and taken some random crowd shots. It seems like he stood on the dance floor the whole time. We had 180 people at the wedding, but the video keeps showing the same hard-core dancers and bridal party folks over and over. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to show that the dance floor was full, but I would like to see some of the older guests too. Even when there's a point where everyone's sitting and eating, the camera is still focused on the one person who decided to get up and dance to the dinner music.
5) The recap starts during the ceremony and ends very abruptly with us in the middle of the dance floor, so it doesn't feel like an 'ending' like most of the recaps I've seen posted here.
6) It's skipping.
Am I being too picky?
