Yes, Russell and I are going on a trip (cruise) out of Brooklyn to San Juan, St Thomas, Turks & Caicos and Bermuda, never been to any of those places before, its for 9 days on Sept 6th and besides that this will be Russells first cruise ever, we cant wait!!!
We are also going to Las Vegas for 3 nights the second week of August and to Bristol TN for the Nascar Race which will be for 5 days the third week in August. Then thats it for a while Im sure.......Its a very exciting year for us...

We aint doing notta!! We are boring and broke The summer flew by-I swore I was going to get to the beach and enjoy the summer and I havent once!

we're going on a 5-day trip to WIldwood, NJ with a bunch of our friends -- it'll be the last trip we take with them for a loooong time (probably years) since we're moving away in September and theres no knowing when hubby will be deployed, so we're really looking forward to it.

We don't have anything planned for August. Atleast I hope I get to make it to the beach once or twice before the summer ends. Then in September we're heading up to Newburyport, MA for the weekend for my co-workers wedding. I've never been to MA before so I'm really looking forward to it Two weeks later I'm going to my cousin's wedding in NJ where I'm the Matron of Honor and two weeks later I have another wedding in SI! Wedding bells are really ringing right now!

The rest my summer will consist of: A long weekend trip to Pennsylvania with my family to see the Nascar race this weekend, DH's birthday in August, my birthday in August, Then my cousin's wedding. In between that I have to go back somewhere and set up my classroom again boo!! In between all that - I'm not doing ANYTHING!!

Don't make me sad I LOVE summer and hate that it flies by so quickly.
DH is taking me to South Beach for my bday the weekend of 8/17. He got me tix to see Kathy Griffin in Ft. Lauderdale. I can't wait!!!

We just booked a week trip to San Fran and Seattle. We both have never been and thought it would be great to go there for a 6 month anniversary trip!

DH & I are flying to Florida next Thursday. We are going to see his parents, sister & niece & Godson.
I am SOO EXCITED!!!! We are going from Thursday & we are flying home on Monday afternoon.
It'll be Nice Time with the Family!!!

DH promised me a visit to the Jersey shore (jersey girl needs her fried oreos & funnel cake ) before the summer ends and we'll be visiting Boston frequently come fall as his brother will be playing college Football there..

Well Sunday is my birthday and we are having a martini party in our backyard--I can't wait!!!!
THen we are doing a 5 day trip to northern Wisconsin for DH's grandparents 70th anniversary--we are trying to make it a mini vacation since it is right on Lake MI and really nice up there (reminded me of east end of LI last time I was there).
Then back to LI for Labor Day weekend for my sister (mattandtricia07)'s bridal shower and my great aunt's 80th bday party at Capt Bills!
Other than that---unfun stuff like work on my dissertation proposal!!!
I am sad how fast the summer has gone but it always seems to be that way.
