Well Sunday is my birthday and we are having a martini party in our backyard--I can't wait!!!!
THen we are doing a 5 day trip to northern Wisconsin for DH's grandparents 70th anniversary--we are trying to make it a mini vacation since it is right on Lake MI and really nice up there (reminded me of east end of LI last time I was there).
Then back to LI for Labor Day weekend for my sister (mattandtricia07)'s bridal shower and my great aunt's 80th bday party at Capt Bills!
Other than that---unfun stuff like work on my dissertation proposal!!!
I am sad how fast the summer has gone but it always seems to be that way.
OMG I love theme parties like that! Take tons of pics this weekend and come back and share -- I'd love to see how your martini party goes![]()

Oh thanks---will definitely do that...love having backyard and/or theme parties...last year in February we did a champagne and strawberries party ---but it was on a night of a snowstorm so we only had 15 people instead of 50 but it was still amazing and the extra champagne lasted a year!!!!!
