either is fine with me. we have only 1 bathroom---and usually my cat (who is OBSESSED w/ppl going to the bathroom) nudges the door open with his nose and sits down and watches me pee---then DH might have to come in for something, peeing & pooping in our house is a family affair.



Same thing with us. It is defitnely a Family Affair. My Cats do the same thing, if the door is slighly closed she will jump up to open it, or nudge it with her nose

I've left it open before and DH freaks out! He hates it. So, I keep it closed, as does he.

We did this even before we were married
#1, door open
#2, door closed unless I am home alone
