Not sure if this was asked already but, What is the best piece of marriage advice you got and from who?
Mines is from my grandmother, she said basically said its inevitable that fights will occur, sometimes they might be small or sometimes they may be over serious things, but the most important thing wether we realize it or not is to let your husband/spouse speak, let him finish his sentence before you start screaming (in my case)![]()
and defending yourself.
I think thats really true for me, because 1/2 the time when we argue I dont even let DH talk, As soon as he says...'but its your fault....' or 'no I didnt do anything!' ...I turn in to a lunatic![]()
and leave the room! or get super mad and start arguing back without ever letting him FULLY get his point across.
So my advice would be: in an argument dont finish each others sentences! Let your husband speak his mind first, so you can actually get insight in to what he's really feeling, rather than shutting him down completely, and this goes vice versa!![]()
