Let's post some of our DIY!!!!

I know we all worked very hard on our weddings adding those personal touches!!

Let's show them off!!!

So here is the MOST INSANE DIY EVERRRR!!!

they ONLY sold sprinkles in red white and blue.... we needed blue and white!!

So Allegra and I figured...Hmm we can just take the reds out... No biggie!!!
yea right! So we get the MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of sprinkles only to find out just how INTENSE this job is!! ALL HANDS ON DECK!!! I had about 12 people seperating sprinkles for days and days and days before we could even get started on the cocoa cones!!! This set the favor project back like crazy!! Literally the cones were finished the NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING!! My one BM Sabrina probably inhaled the most cocoa!! as you poured them into the bags the powder just went into the air. haha! but we got it done.

WOW, looking at everyone's picturesi think that all of us DIY brides did an incredible job in personalizing our weddings with very creative and beautiful additions! so many of you were so kind to always share in my projects and offer suggestions, etc! in the end, i was beyond happy with how it all came together! :o)

my menus and cookie/donation favors:

table numbers:

our sand dollar escort cards, with calligraphy in cool round trays from ikea! i LOVED this project!

my stained glass window i made with the cross my late uncle made for me when i was born:

our engagement party invites and save the date ticket magnet:

bridesmaid thank you with inserted dress swatch:

and lastly, the INVITES!

I did alot of DIY's!!!! I loved how they all came out and were well worth the effort in making them all!!!

Here are some:

I made the bottom centerpieces for the wedding:

These were semi DIY for our chinese invitations:

I made the tank tops for me, the MOH and BM:

Table #'s:

Slipper basket:

This was alot of work and with the help from someone at work this was our sand ceremony photobox:

The program fans were a lot of work but my best DIY that I made:

This is the aisle runner I made:

This was our Thank You umbrella I made:

This was the 'LOVE' letters I painted and blinged out for the cake table:

For the candy table I made all the signs:

I made the stickers for the candy bags as well:

I used vintage luggage for our cardbox since it was a travel theme and I added all the vintage travel stickers:

I even for my MIL in the DIY's and she made 100 chair cap covers for the ceremony:

I made the petal cones:

The escort cards were semi DIY since I had my calligrapher write out the names and I placed the stickers on mini liquor bottles:

The escort card box was DIY as well with the help of a friend from work:

I made the stickers for the favors:

Our cocktail napkins:

Our toasting flutes:

And I think thats it but I also mad bathroom baskets and some other things that I wasnt able to get pics of or I forgot to take them in the process!!!

I feel like I DIY'ed everything!...

Our invites:

Our seating 'cards' - we folded over 1000 paper origami cranes for the wedding....

Our menus:

Our favors: cranes and candy buffet

The design of and pattern on our cake (of course I didn't execute it but I gave them my design!!!)

Our centerpieces:

Our guest book:

Other decor:

There was a bunch of other smaller things like bathroom baskets etc but this is the bulk of it! Phew!

.We changed the flowers on the FG Dresses they were this......

changed to this.....

we also made the hair accessories for them...

and decorated and painted the baskets!!

I'm nominating KerriJohnS for this too. She did an amazing job with the Card Box, Cocoa Cones, Menus, Time capsules, Place Cards....LOVE IT ALL!!! I forgot Slipper baskets!
