NWQOTD 1/27/11~

Happy Snow Day to everyone who has the day off today.

I hate the winter and the snow so I am dreaming about the summer.

So today's question has to do with the warm weather.

What is your most favorite thing to do in the Summer?

Mine is, which will come as no surprise to alot of you, is going out to Greenport and just sitting on the beach. I just love sitting there looking at the water, watching the boats pass. Its so relaxing.

i can not wait for summer!!!

but i love to get a bunch of family and firends together and make a whole day at the beach!

and then come home and have a nice BBQ and hangout more!

we live in the city so my fav thing to do is to hang out in central park. DH and I will bring the doggy and have a little picnic and just lay out in the park.

We love getting out of the city and heading out east to eitehr my parents backyard in Woodbury or his parents house in the Hamptons where we just chill out by the pool and BBQ!

We are SO low key over the summer. Even in the hamptons! I don't think we've gone out to a bar more than 5 times in the past 3 summers.

Also, I agree with Coll - looooove summer gear. I am a flip flop kinda girl...

Our birthdays are 4 days apart in August, so that's always a ton of fun, whatever we decide to do...

Obviously this summer I am looking forward to the huge Pearl Jam festival that's happening!!!

Other than that...love hanging at Coney Island, outdoor cooking/eating/drinking, going to outdoor concerts, and just walking around the city. I've lived here my whole life and that never, ever gets old.

When you first walk out the door and the sweet, warm air hits you...I love taking a deep breath and just standing there with my eyes closed for a minute.

Other than that...definitely BBQs!!! I hope we own a house by the summer so we can throw some of our own!!
