Morning all!!

So today will be a picture post QOTD..

After dress shopping with my newly engaged FSIL, I start to think about my 'runner up' gown.

I loved this dress... until I tired it on and realized any dress in this style isn't flattering to any girl with hips or a big butt.

But I still think its super cute. Just... not for my bod.

ok., i had two and i just went thru my emails to see if i could find the dresses.

this one by alfred angelo i was going to make into a sweetheart neckline. it was pretty.

this one by demetrios i felt comfortable in, but i brought a friend and my mom/sis to the dress shop and no one was WOWed.

this is the one that i first found online, couldnt get out of my head, drove to CT to the closest store to try it on and wound up getting. so i guess it was the 'one' after all......

There was no question I was wearing my mother's dress.

I did think that if I had to shop for a new dress, I would strongly consider a dress that was a pink champagne color

The dress that I ordered in January that came in like a piece of poo (to recap my 'new' dress came in looking like a 5 year old sample).

This one I really liked when I tried it on in Ivory, but I didn't like those two ribbons underneath the boobs. They said they could remove them or tuck them under so they didn't stand out as much but I was afraid it'd look dumb, so I didn't want to chance it. This is Maggie Sottero 'Mystic'.

Then there was this one- Allure 8634. My MIL chose this one for me to try on actually. This is the one that I still think about sometimes. It's so beautiful. But the front was so low cut it made me umcomfortable and I didn't think I wanted straps. But holy hell is this a gorgeous dress!
