Pumpkin Pie!

Recipe is on the back of the Libby's pumpkin can. I just use one cup sugar instead of 3/4 cup of sugar.

My favorite is Christmas Bark… probably bc it’s the easiest thing ever!

Umm I don’t have the recipe right now but it involves chocolate, nuts and Saltines. And FIL calls it Christmas Crack bc he can never stop eating it!

My favorite dessert is an English Raspberry Trifle - Manhattan Sweets in Islip and I love the Yule Log.

But I love all good sweets.

My family tradition is cookies for breakfast, something I plan on doing for a long time, even though the bakery we have used since my mom was a kid closed and we had to find another place to find cookies.

Apple Crisp and my latest favorite is pumpkin spice dip!!! Both recipes are healthy alternatives to the 'real deal' but they are SOOOO delicious!

I make these low fat biscotti that are delicious. .. don't have the recipe now but they are really healthy (well for cookies - they still have white flour and sugar) and are delicious - sometimes I drizzle a little chocolate over them too. . hmmm

Re: ****NWQOTD 11/11/09*****

I just realized it said to make... my favorite holiday dessert to make would be Chocolate Houses or Truffles. I think I am going to make a ton of truffles this year after Thanksgiving and go introduce myself to our neighbors. We have had the house for over a year, but we have only just settled in (and I only moved in after the wedding) so I think its time to be polite and meet them.

I make all kinds of Truffles... Chocolate, White chocolate, grand marnier, champagne, amaretto, almond...etc.

I would share the recipe but they are so long and there as so many, with all the different kinds of truffles. If I get time I will share them.

Hey if your posting recipes copy them onto the official cookbook thread. I am not putting any recipes in the book unless they are on that thread because I don't want to put recipes in it that people may not want in the book. If that makes any sense to people.
