Thanks Shauna for making me newlywed of the week :). I'm sorry I missed the post yesterday. Here's today's question:
In your home would you prefer hardwood floors or carpet?
I've always grown up with carpet and love it! I just feel like it's very clean and cozy. We have hardwood now in our condo and I know it looks so nice but my goddddddddddd those stupid floors do not stay clean! I am a neat freak and scrub them and maybe just a few hours later I notice my socks don't stay white ugh, drives me nuts. DH loves them but I'm seriously considering not having them in our next home even though they're such a value booster . I'm torn, what do you guys think???

I would like hardwood floors everywhere except maybe the bedroom. But even there I'd like it and then I could just put an area rug down.

I wish we had hardwood floors bc Dh REFUSES to take his shoes off at the door and I feel like there are stains all over the carpets already and we've only been living there 3 months!

I love our hardwood floors...I love the look of them and with how messy DH and SD are, I'm glad that I don't have permanent carpets for them to stain.

exactly. cant stand carpets, it always gives me a feeling if there are diseases in there along with dirt from the 1950's

Hardwood floors all the way. In my opinion they stay cleaner & are easier to clean.
You can always purchase an area rug. My parents new house only has hardwood floors. In their living room they have two area rugs that they change depending on the season.
