Sorry for the lateness of this, I was running around all morning!

Soo for today's question:

If you could go away for a year, free of any obligations or repercussion, with enough money in your pocket to live a comfortable lifestyle, where would you choose to live?

My answer:
Top 3 choices are Australia, Maui, and London

I'd want to go somewhere I speak the language I think, and I adore Maui, love London's sophistication and am just dying to go to Australia!

Our top 3 would probably be Turkey, London, or Australia...we are both nerds and there are research interests in all of those places for us!

I would definately go to Paris - and have that as my home base... and then travel as much of France and its neighbors as possible..

Italy so that we ccould drink LOTS of good wine and eat LOTS of good food

Fiji, even though I have never been, it seems AMAZING!

Puerto Rico or Western Massachusetts.

I have been to PR twice and I love it. I would want to spend a week or so hiking all the trails in El Yunque, and see Viieques, and all the cultural stuff I haven't seen yet.

I went to grad school in Western Mass, and it is the most beautiful place. Amherst and Northampton are amazing towns with great shopping and local culture. It's a little bit laid back, but not too much. I love sense of community I felt there, and the fall colors were so spectacular. I seriously considered staying there, but there are not as many jobs as in a more urban area.
