So, I'm going to assume that most of us live with our DHs and have created a 'home' out of whatever we have, whether it's a tiny little apartment or a huge house. That being said...

What is your favorite thing about your 'home' together?

When I used to live on my own, one of my favorite things to do was come home, pour a glass of wine (keep the bottle handy), make/heat up some food and just chill out on my couch. When DH and I moved in together, he started curling up on the couch with me and i love that! It's so relaxing and nice!

That/;s my favorite too. I LOVEEE snuggling on the couch with him watching tv. I love eating home cooked dinner with him every night at the table, but snuggling on the couch is my favorite.

also love sat mornings in winter being lazy...staying in bed cuddling and relaxing all day.

My favorite thing is the kitchen. We painted it a few months back - orange and celery green, sounds strange but looks awesome - and I love to cook. Living on my own for 6+ years, I always had to cook for one...or cook for two and have leftovers. Sometimes I was cool with it, but sometimes it was a little depressing. So I love that I can cook for the two of us and we sit down together to eat. It's so rewarding to come home from work and cook for the two of us!

my new thing is snuggling on the couch with all the chirstmas stuff up and the tree lite, and the puppy on my lap! i just love my boys!

but on a none holiday mood, is coming home and cooking together and eating a very yummy meal!

hmmm many things actually! i love that i have a built-in handyman, cuz he is super handy and takes care of all the 'maintenance' stuff that i would procrastinate or forget about (changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, etc.) Even though I do like alone time sometimes I love not coming home to a cold, dark, empty place. But most of all I love bedtime....like 85% of the time I'm asleep before he is but he does this thing every night (I only know about it cuz of the few times I'm awake....but he once told me he does it every night....so cute) where when he turns off the light he snuggles up to me and wraps himself around me until he starts to drift off....then he unwraps himself cuz i cant sleep all night like that i get too hot but i still love it!!

its so cool to come home to him, FINALLY, after dating for 7 years and not have to drive to BK or vise versa to see him!!

We love cooking together, eating in the kitchen and talking about our days, weekend plans, etc.........butttttttttttttt my favorite is either snuggling up on the couch to watch TV right next to the xmas tree after we make lunches, clean up kitchen, etc....OR falling alseep next to each other!!! It is such an awesome feeling and he is so warm and a great pillow cushion!!!!

he also leaves me a note every morning on the kitchen table next to my mug since he leaves at 6am and I am not even awake at that point yet lol........one morning he forgot it and I called him to complain

I like farting in the bes and having someone to pull the covers over...DUTCH OVEN BABY!!!!

My favortie part of living together is waking up next to him.

My favorite thing... Bed time & wake up time... At night we watch the news in bed and the pups come up to cuddle with us and say good night... and when lights are out - they go to their beds and DH and I just cuddle together....
Then waking up - same thing in reverse order...we cuddle a bit and then the kids come up to get their Good Morning....

DH and I take turns cooking....so one of my favorite things is catching glimpses of him from afar while he cooks us supper.

He's not great in the kitchen but the final product has nothing to do with it.

Along the same lines, I also love going grocery shopping together and stocking our home!

Taking care of DH...cooking for him, doing his laundry, cleaning up after him. I love taking care of him!!

watching jeopardy together every night.

and being able to be done with my day and not have to call to talk to him.

we didn't live together until the day after the wedding. aw, i'm such a good girl.

Making time to watch our favorite shows together, having breakfast together on the weekends, and when DH tucks me into bed every night

I love just curling up on the couch with him and watching TV or a movie after a long day of work!

I just love the fact that I feel so utterly comfortable and laid back here compared to on edge like I have at home or other places. Anywhere I could live with DH would be the perfect home because it's about how he makes me feel.

As far as the apartment itself, let's just say it's tricked out and awesome. It'll probably be the nicest place we ever rent from.

If I didn't live with him I'd never see him...thank goodness I'm leaving school!

Also I haaaaaate where we're living now, so it kind of puts a damper on everything.

i love coming home and eating together....cookin in our little kitchen, whether its a 5star meal or just something quick. (its def saving us money too)
and i like when i can pack us lunches

and i love my new commute to work (old commute was about 90 minutes each way) and that i can sleep in much later than every before.

DH and I have lived together about three years already, but we have always been in 1-2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartments. However, about two weeks after our wedding..about 3 weeks ago...we closed and moved into a 5 bedroom 4 bathroom house. We loooove it. What i like most is not having to share a bathroom!! Also, as dumb as this sounds, we had sooo much fun having a massive driveway to shovel snow out of together hahaha
