Good Morning Ladies

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Here is today's Question of the day

What was your favorite toy/stuffed animal as a kid? Did it have a special name? When did you get rid of it?


I have a bunny that I still sleep with I have had it since I 'stole' it from K mart when I was three. Her name is Tootsie. Dh thinks it is disgusting and throws it on the floor most days aiming for the trash bin. My father and step father have tortured me growing up by hanging it with a belt noose in the closet, putting it on the roof and driving away, throwing it on the roof of the house and letting it roll down to do it again. She is very creepy and has been threw a lot and I just cant seem to get rid of her.

Little Foot stuffed animal from the land before time.

Still have it, it's beaten to crap and I will not get rid of it.

Hmm I can't remember my first stuffed animal- I had hundreds- literally hundreds. Some were tossed when we moved but the ones in good condition were donated. We kept a few- like the ones I bought from Disney when I was 3. I remember I bought a Lady and a Tramp stuffed animal and when I got home my dog promptly ripped Lady to shreds. We still have Tramp though!

SOFTIEEEE the penguin!!!

I got him when I was four...we were at Sea World and I begged my mom and dad for him but they said no because we were there with all of my cousins and no one else was getting a toy....and then my dad snuck back and got him for me!

He's 27 now and he lives on my bed at home at my parents house!

Kitty the kitty!!! (I was a very creative child )

She was a Pound Purry and gray and I loved her so much... I dont know when or IF we ever got rid of her. I don't know where she is now, but there is a strong possibility that she is in my mom's attic with a TON of other things from my childhood that she couldn't part with

I still have them!! They're currently in a bag on the top of my closet...

There is this white elefant that someone had made for me.. with pink velvet in the ears that I loved to rub... and a small white teddy bear that to this day I swear is the roughest fabric I've ever felt!

DH still buys me stuffies, too. Actually, I'm due he usually gets them for me for V-Day.

One was a doll named MeMa (Amelia...but I couldn't say that when I was a baby)...that my great grandmother's sister in law made for me. I still have the doll on my nightstand.

i had like 40 stuffed animals as a kid... they were all on the bed with me when i went to sleep...

my mother has told me several times that she tried to wake up one of my stuffed animals when i was a kid, instead of me...

the two that i remember was Thumper, from Bambi & a giant dog...

I have a brown bear that I've had since I was really little.

His arm is half torn off and some of his fur is missing. His actual name is supposed to be Bentley Bear, but I couldn't say Bentley when I was little, so I called him Benton.

Benton now sits peacefully on my night table next to my bed.

Mine was a doll called 'Didi'...but I pronounced it 'Die-Die'. It was this ugly purple and pink plaid rag doll that made a rattle sound. I remember making a big scene when I would forget it at home and my mom would have to go home and get it for me. One day I puked all over her...so instead of washing her...my mom threw her out and bought me a new one. I refused to play with it (and never did) because it was not MY old ratty looking smelly DieDie!

BTW...your toy is totally scary! lol

I had this pillow that was given to my sister when she was born but didn't like it. It was a bear shaped pillow (just the head) and it was pastel patchwork print. It was so comfy that I named him Comfy. He came with me to every sleepover and couldn't sleep without it. My mom has had to patch him back up a couple times and his fabric is see through with all the wear and tear. He's still in my closet.

I have Fuzzy the Bear...I've had him since I was very very young and I still sleep with him every single night...there's no way I'm getting rid of him. If DH told me to pick between Fuzzy and him it'd be no contest!

My aunt who died when i was a baby gave me a doll. My mom (her sis) named her gracie. I have tons of pics with me and gracie. Gracie was badly damaged over the years but my ex paid to have her fixed up. I have her hiding so she will never get messed up again.
