DH has actually been pretty good. Only thing I can kinda shake my head at is our first xmas he got me the dvd of Office Space. Don't get me wrong...great movie...there was no mention of it while we were dating and I don't know what prompted him to buy it for me.

DH has been pretty good. Christmas 2009 he wanted to get me a bike that I didnt want but I talked him out of it.

otherwise I have liked all his gifts to me.

Not really a gift, but it sort of counts ...

DH was surprising me with 'something' for my bday a few years ago ... apparently, DH had invited his parents to my birthday dinner .... yeah, um ... DH, you might love your parents ... but i sure as hell don't! oh, my mom ruined his stupid surprise though by 'accidientally' telling me in advance. his parents still came, but i was happy not to have that shock of seeing them there randomly.

Similarly (i think it was the same year), he had a day of surprises planned for me ... one of them was supposed to be painting clay thingies with his brothers and their wives ... um, that's not really something i do for fun .... and i certainly don't hang out with his brothers for fun ... luckily, they couldn't make it at the last-minute.

hehe. Not weird but funny.
Our first Christmas after dating he got me a gray hoodiein a L when I'm a S because I LOVED wearing his big comfy hoodie and took it every chance I got. :)

After about a month he finally got that it's not because I wanted a hoodie but because it was his hoodie. So cute.

A $10 memory foam pillow he got from some random dude walking around selling sh!t on the street. It was total crap.

The only gift that left me a little bit was a helicopter ride around Manhattan. That sounds all sweet and lovely except I'm terrified of flying in a regular plane which he well knows. You'd NEVER get me on a helicopter. My dad actually wanted to take me on a helicopter ride around Manhattan when I was a kid and I refused to go, too. lol!

the christmas before we got engaged he got me all sorts of 'practical' gifts...which was fine because little did I know I'd be getting a hunk of ice 2 weeks later but at the time I remember being like 'what in the bluest of blue hells is going on here'...

my gifts included:

a hot pink umbrella
AND
a pair of Nike 360s...very cool & I love them....but at the time I remember taking the sneakers as like a hint to 'hit the gym'

DH got me a snuggie for xmas and then got mad that I didn't like it.

DH bought me the Shake Weight for my birthday last year. He thought he was doing me a favor because I always complain about my arm fat but I just couldn't do it. It's just so strange, although I can tell you I felt it working, I couldn't stop laughing while I was doing it.
