Re: NWQOTD 2.14.11
when i moved back to nyc, we went out for dinner on V-DAY night. it was so special and romantic (since the previous years i was living in another city...so it was just great to see him that night!). and then that wknd we took a trip to boston
also our first vday was pretty awesome too. he totally went above and beyond....rose petals on bed, bubble bath, and jewelry!! he is the best!

Our first one, when we were not living together. His parents went away so we had the house to ourselves. We had tacos and drank wine and watched movies all night.

We're not big Vday people. So this answer is going to be lame...whenever Vday fell on a weekday DH (then FH) would send roses to the office. To be honest I'm not expecting any this year though.

I have a couple but my favorite is the first V-Day we spent together where DH drove through a horrible snow-storm to come to my house and bring me beautiful roses and a teddy bear

His originall proposal!!! We had only been together a year and a half. He was super nervous...and both the propsal and the ring were really cheesy....but he was soooo adorable!!!! Then he took me out for pizza..yay!

Oh boy, there have been so many! Could be the first one, which is when we first did the deed (TMI?)........or could be two years ago when our e-party was the day after v-day.

Well, we don't celebrate but I still have a nice memory from one.
We were up in Providence for a convention that a bunch of our friends go to, and Vday happened to fall on a Saturday...a whole mess of people were getting together to go out to dinner. I wasn't feeling well at ALL...some kind of stomach bug or something. I tried to push through, got dressed and even went to the restaurant but I was feeling so ill that we had to go back to the hotel.
I felt so guilty making him miss the dinner, I told him to stay...but he wouldn't leave my side. I kept apologizing and he wouldn't have any of it, he was so sincere and loving, was not upset at all (aside from being upset because he didn't like to see me sick)...he ate room service while I moaned in misery and held me while I slept...honestly it was probably my best Valentine's present ever

Re: NWQOTD 2.14.11
We've only had a few Valentine's days together and they've all been pretty memorable so far (at least I think so!)
First one - Feb 2008: we reconnected for the 1st time in 5 years - raging butterflies and all the excitement that goes with starting a new relationship
Second one - Feb 2009: first trip to hawaii (oahu)! so amazing, we've decided to go to the big island this march :)
Third one - Feb 2010: he took me to get my first tattoo, in the middle of my back, says faith.strength.love
This year will be definitely the most low key, probably least memorable one thus far, but he always makes it special

Re: NWQOTD 2.14.11
Our first v-day we spent out in Greenport- drinking wine by the fireplace and just spending the evening together. It was the most romatic night I have ever spent with anyone.
