So let's talk money. Who makes more money: you or DH? Does it bother the person in marriage who makes less?

He makes 20k more than me, without bonus. I'm inferior $ wise. Oh well, it really doesnt bother me. I'm just glad one of us is making good $

DH makes WAY more than I and he deserves it! I am so proud of him - he is so focused and driven and ambitious - he is totally pushing his career!
I got my employer to foot the bill for my $180K graduate degree from NYU so that ain't too shabby..
When it comes to work and money we are literally each other's biggest advocates....absolutely zero in the way of jealousy, etc....

I used to make more $$ then DH but now he just got his big raise so he makes almost double then what I make hourly. Doesn't bother me in the least. We both make good money and he's a better saver then I am so we'll hopefuly have a house within a year!

We make the same!! I used to make more, but since he got a raise we make the same. plus his employer is paying for our car, so i guess that's a lot more than me now.
Since we got married he was put on my health insurance, i wish we could've done it sooner b/c i pay a lot less than what he was paying.
neither of us care at all. when i was making more he was proud and would say things like that he can be a SAHH!! I want him to succeed and excel in his career. He works extremely hard and is dedicated and loyal. He deserves it and much, much, more!

Dh and I actually have exactly the same job (both high school teachers in the same school). DH makes a LITTLE more than I do with coaching but other than that it's about the same.
It wouldn't bother me if he made more, but I agree with Ilana--I'd still want to contribute my 'fair share'
