*~*~* NWQOTD 7.15.11 *~*~*

It's Friday!!! Woohoo!! Can't wait to get home from work and go in the pool at my condo complex later!!!

Now for the NWQOTD....

Did you ever win anything?
If so, what did you win?

I won two things:
* $1000 from LIW!! I was the $1000 winner in LIW's 2010 drawing. Thank you LIW!!

* I was caller 100 on Z100 back in 2001 and won tickets to their Zootopia concert. My sister and I were SO excited..Lol!

Fun question! I can't believe you won something on z100!!!

I've won a few things on LIW, the biggest being an AMAZING photoshoot with Jenerations. The next biggest would be my amazing DOC, Christine from POC events!!

My most amazing story though is that I was on The Price is Right with Bob Barker. It was in 2006. I won a fridge, a pool table, a secretary desk with hutch and a grill. It's surreal to me now thinking about it, but it's a SUPER cool thing to tell while playing the ice breaker game '2 truth and 1 lie.'

<-All sorts of jealous right now!

Haven't won much...

Won the dollar lottery at work a couple weeks ago.

Won a Vera Bradley desk set and a Vera Bradley tote in separate years at a Chinese Auction in my town for Breast Cancer

I really can't think of anything else.

ETA: Very very jealous you got to be on Price is Right. A friend of mine and I went back in 2005 and didn't get called up :(

The only thing I ever won was crystal monogram bouquet picks from TWOTY

i'm not a very lucky person lol

my winnings suck!

i won that colon thing from TWOTY (still need to use)

a few scratch tickets that were a few hundred bucks

Does winning at a casino count??

Not much here either...
a few scratch offs for 10 & 20 bucks, but DH just replays them!

Though I am now running my office Lottery pool - and I'm planning on winning big there!

I won $1000 from LIW back in 2005 or 2006.

We won a $20 bottle of rum on our honeymoon in a raffle :0)

wow, you guys are all pretty lucky!

i got lucky 2 years in a row at my company holiday party raffles:
-- won a Sony ebook reader (value $300)
-- won a 16gb iPod (value $250ish)

otherwise, my winnings are pretty lame and include
-- $5 from a scratch off
-- a free bottle of axe men's bodywash
