What to you love and hate/dislike about your job?? Your co-workers?? Certain assignments?? The commute??!?!

I am going stir crazy working for and by myself all summer. I NEED coworkers lolol--I'm looking very forward to the fall.

I love my 1 coworker but I despise everything else that has to do with my job.....right now I am still trying to drag myself off the couch to get in the shower to go....

I have a lot of downtime at work which is simultaneously a curse and a blessing. It's a blessing because I get to spend my work hours with you ladies, it's a curse because it can make the day feel looooooong and dragged out.

Also, the attorneys who treat us like something nasty on their shoes. I could deal without being cursed at, have things thrown at me, being looked down on, etc.

ETA: I do have a new boss though and she's been training me on a lot of different things so as I get more responsibility, I have less down time, but it LOOKS good for my job and it passes the time so I don't mind.

LOVE: the flexibility, short commute, and most of my co-workers

HATE: the paperwork and the fact that none of my clients actually want me in their lives so it makes the job really difficult.......oh and running living skills groups with a bunch of teenage boys with raging hormones.....yea that's always interesting


ETA: what a coincidence.....after answering this post I got an email from career builder with a posting for what is essentially my dream job

commute: much shorter since i moved, so i dont mind. but i still need to take a toll bridge each way, so the commute is $$$

What I love: Most of my co-workers, working in the same company as the hubby, having been here for a few years it helps to feel really comfortable and secure in it.

What I don't like: Sometimes the really crazy hours, easily get stressed out b/c I'm dealing w/ people all the time, I'm always 'on call' so to speak

I've been at my new job only a month so I don't have much to gripe about (yet). But I don't like that there's no window near me...I have no clue what's going on weather-wise.

ETA: Ooops forgot the 'what I like about my job part' - I work with one of my very good friends (she's basically my boss), being in the city you can do pretty much anything you want during your lunch break, Tracks at Penn Station - need I say more!

Love: a lot of the ladies I work with! they're great!!

Hate: the commute and the fact that we haven't had raises in 3 years..but have bought 3 other agencies

I love my job, from my co-workers and bosses.

What I dislike is the 30-40 minute commute everyday. I need to move closer to my job.

Love: my co-workers, the stability I have thanks to my big budgt clients, the ability to 'check-out' when the day is over

Dislike: my commute is a lot longer (so more $$), I'm kind of over working in the city, the last minute/come out of no where requests/projects (like finding out yesterday I have to go on a biz trip the weekend of 4th of July)

I love lesson planning, when my students 'get it', when they take the time to email me after getting into college, I love seeing my students succeed, I love compliments from parents, I love creating worksheets...

Dislike: the instability of being a teacher- I'm always being excessed...

I love my commute that's about it
Sometimes I like my co workers

I hate that I never have anything to do and my boss hates giving us new things to work on. Things are constently being taken away and given back to us. That we are treated like 10 year olds not like adults. I could go on forever but I can't leave because I get paid well but 3 yrs without a raise and had a pay cut is now starting to kill everyone here.

I like my job - the work, pretty much my coworkers ( a few here and there annoy me) - I pretty much have freedom to do what I want but I really have a problem with my immediate boss. He drives me crazy the way he corrects my work. The other thing that I dont like is I havent had a raise in 2 years. The union raises are on hold and my boss refuses to put me in for a merit raise.

i love where i work...

50% of my department annoys me... but my job is cake, my boss is awesome so i deal with it...

I love that I work from home and am allowed (most of the time) to be as creative as I want.
Love that my other job is only 2 nights a week (in the office), so I have more time to take care of my house, cook, clean, shop, etc.

I cannot stand deadlines! Especially when the sales people ALWAYS ALWAYS sell new clients WAY PAST DEADLINE and I turn into a total basket case!
