Happy Friday, everybody! TGIF ... it's been a very very long week but I'm so happy to say it's almost over

I had a hard time thinking of today's question but i finally came up with this ... ok ok, i i didn't come up with it on my own ... i copied it off of the 2005 boards

Which traits of yours & DH's do you want your children (or future children) to take on?

From me, i want my future kids to take the 'brains' ... and from DH, they should ideally take the 'fun' and 'social' parts ... let's hope it happens

Oh, and also, DH was a difficult child ... i was very easy to raise ... so hopefully our kids will be good like i was

From me: ambition & drive, positive outlook on life, and outgoing personality

From DH: laid back attitude, math skills, and baseball/sports skills

From me: my go-getter, leave nothing undone attitude and sense of cleanliness.......and of course my brains

From DH: his sense of humor, patience, and generosity

And on a vain note - I'd love for my kids to have my complexion/coloring and DH's eyes..........I love how a dark complexion looks with bright blue eyes

From DH: His height, his athleticism, and his all around good nature.

From Me: My intelligence and responsibility.

DH always says we're going to have a basketball team and I laugh and tell him yeah right, he's gonna have a bunch of 5'3 asthmatic kids.

From me, I hope they get my drive, determination, food loving/cooking skills, love of music, and athleticism.

From DH, I hope they get his patience, optimism, and desire for order and cleanliness.

And if they get both of our different kinds of intelligence, they will be geniuses.

If we end up spawning by some terrible act of the universe...

then...

From me: My sense of humor, my way with words, my loyalty, my love and protection of all animals. My eye color, too.

From DH: His sense of determination and drive, his musical abilities, his skin tone.

The child will be raised as a Pearl Jam fan. Obviously.

And hopefully this phantom child will also be a vegetarian - it will be raised as such but later in life, it (it...ha...I'm so not geared toward children) can make IT'S own choices, like my parents allowed me to do. But ideally, I would hope that being raised in a cruelty-free household would be something they would take and roll with in life.

From DH: his freckles, his big cute ears, how well he handles money, and his eyesight (I hate having bad eyes)

From Me: how loving and close I am with my parents, my temper (or lack thereof), my sense of humor, and my understanding.

mine: optimisitc, caring/giving, hard worker, determined, nose

DH: sense of humor, creativity, eyes (GORGEOUS green), intelligence, and my husband is the REALEST person I have ever met. I hope our children are like that.
