DH and I were friends for over a year before we started dating. My first impression of him was that he was a fun loving guy and just great to be around.

I kid you not. On our very first date, DH showed up in this HIDEOUS bright yellow winter coat from Structure. I'm not sure how I ever looked past it, lol. But once I did, I saw his bright blue eyes and melted

I met him in HS and I thought he was HOT!!!!! and such a nice guy. We went on our first date 7 years later I still thought that he was super HOT and I fell in love with his BIG heart!

We were kinda hooked up though so it was more that we had to try it out a bit to see what was there...since it was his sister and my good friend setting us up (they were dating and now married)

Since we met online - I saw his picture first.... He was outside...smiling, with one eyebrow arched and he's bald.... He looked like a total bad a$$, but he had kind, smiling eyes... When we met in person it was his eyes that melted me.

We didnt like each other the first time we met... it wasnt until a year or two later that we became friends first... we didnt start dating until we were really close friends

ha - i love all the answers... but i guess i should answer my own question.
I had met DH a couple times before 'the night', where we hit it off but at the time i was with my ex, so I didn't think anything of him.
But on 'the night' the first thing I noticed was his smell LOL he smelled really good!! I even asked 'so what kind of cologne are you wearing??' sleezy pick up line much?!?! lol

He gave me the biggest hug EVER! Omg, I felt like I could lay in his arms forever. We decided to meet in Times Square, and as I'm approaching him, I'm on the phone asking him to find me in the crowd. It was obvious who I was because I was laughing like a moron lol. We both mentioned this moment in our vows

DH was running for Student Association president at our college so his face was plastered all over campus. I knew who he was, so when I was introduced to him, my friends called him 'Mr. President' or 'that hot guy giving out lollipops and running for something'
