***NWQOTD Sunny Saturday 11/28/09***

Hi ladies! Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful day! Today's question is what is the coolest, most elaborate, or just most thoughtful thin you have done for DH recently?

For me it would be all I did to make something happen for his 30th bday. I had planned a surprise party for him, and then things started going downhill with my nani. All week I was dreading thinking of the party and all. I hadn't done one thing for it nor was I in any shape to host and throw a surprise party! I was so upset. My parents really made me feel better and told me that we really need a break, and Mike really deserves something nice for his 30th. Because I didn't work all week I am totally broke. They gave me money and we are going out to dinner and dancing at Four in Melville! He has no idea even yet! It's tonight! His bff is in town from Ohio and is coming with his wife! And our BM and gf and other bff will be there for dinner. Then about 10 people are meeting us for drinks/dancing! AND I got a town car so we can drink!! Woohoo! I just hope I can take my mind off my nani and have some fun.

I guess the most recent thing I did was to get a tree without him knowing. When I pulled it out and set it up on Thursday after dinner, he was so surprised! DH loves Christmas.

i found him a puppy and i did it as a surprise, i played it off like i ddin't want a dog, meanwhile i was calling all sorts of breeders....but then i had to tell him, cause we gotta travel to get him and i would never go on my own!

Sooo DH's car is in the shop! its been there for almost a week now...not excited for the bill when its finally fixed!

but anyhow something sweet and nice ive done lately for DH is give him my car...yeah i know we are married and whats mine is his and all that, but it makes a big deal when we both work about a half hour from our jobs! he goes in at 6:00am i dont have to be in till 7:30! so basically i go into work at 6 too so that he is not stranded..
i also gave him the car when i was at my second job (about 2 miles from our apt) to go play hockey yesterday causing me to walk home in the cold and wind. lol not really anything special but its a big deal not having your own car when you are use to it!

Ladies, those are all great things to do for your men! Sandra, the tree is SO amazing!! That's the kind of thing that would make my DH roll over! Coll, WOW about the pup!!!!!!! Jess that's super sweet about the car. I love you ladies!!
