NWQOTD Tuesday 6/21

So, if work wasn't a factor, where would your ideal place be to live in the US?

DH and I hope to be able to leave NY in the next year or two and move to Texas. NY is great for our line of work, but we HAAATE the cold. DH lived in Austin for 10 years so we hope we can move back there and finally be warm!

Honeslty - It would probably still be NY.

Both of our families are here and all our friends so I feel we would still be here.

Maybe move to another part of the state.

But if we were to take NY out of the picture totally - I would like to move Boston.

This! Everything important to us is here. We wouldn't be able to move that far away.

If we could move everything/everybody with us - probably head down south a bit...warmer weather.

i feel the same way as eloise. I would rather stay in NY with all of my family and friends. After almost moving to FL, I'm really thankful I get to still be with my family.

but if it wasn't for our ties here, we'd move to NC. I love the heat, but I just can't picture myself living somewhere without the occasional brisk, hoodie-wearing evenings

We plan on moving to West Palm Beach Florida in the next 2-3 years.

All of our family is here...I'm more attach to my family than he is. I will miss them dearly. But now my DH is my family and we have to do whats best for us.

Right now, Georgia! My older sister lives there with her 2 sons, and my uncle moved down there last year as well. My parents hope to move from NY to GA within the next 2 years. I have been living with DH and his family here in Chicago for 10 years and I am so over it! I want to be near my family! Plus, their winters are fabulous! Chicago winters are a friggin brutal!
