NWQOTD - wed!

Okay I'm posting early bc I might not be on much tomorrow - have an early day at work (and no email access there) and want to make sure I get the question out. . .

so thinking about all the 'instant celeberties' that seem to pop up for some reason or another. . what if it happened to you or your DH,.

If your DH suddenly became so famous that you were always in the spotlight (think papparazzi camped outside that house you got from yesterdays QOTD) would you, love it, hate it, deal with it bc he was happy or what?

If you suddenly became famous how do you think your DH would handle it?

Haha interesting question. Well it would depend on what he gets famous for. I hope it's not banging like 29 women or knocking me up with 14 kids like most instant celebs lately. Haha but thinking it's for something a little less trashy then that, I'd be happy for him. Though his head would DEFINITELY be gassed up. lol!

ETA: If I were the one famous, DH would love it because he'd be famous by association.

if dh suddenly became famous... i would love the money (and well maybe some of the attention lol), hate having no privacy, but ultimately get used to is... im assuming..

if i suddenly became famous... dh would hate people being in our business all the time. he would be one of those famous people that is cursing out the paparazzi all the time, hitting their cars with umbrella's (britney spears style, LMFAO), and end up on tmz.

I think I'd be really annoyed with all the paps around, and I'd probably be the kind of person who punches them or curses them off and stuff. But I would totally take advantage of all the free things we could get (like designer clothes and stuff).

DH on the other hand, he would be completely miserable and depressed until they left...which might be never because even after you're not famous anymore those things stick around waiting for your worst moment, like roaches or something.

I think i would love certain parts of it (like being able to buy a dream house...etc) but im sure it gets annoying...

i think the determining factor would be what is he famous for??

but most likely i would deal with it, and be happy for him, and enjoy the money for once! LOL

I think for either one of us we would be happy for each other and go with the flow. I'm sure at first, its an amazing feeling being able to go whatever you want and BUY whatever you want. But I'm also sure the novelty of it all wears off at some point.

As long as neither of us became a lindsay lohan, i think it would be great.

I don't think either one of us would take it well. We are not the type of people that like attention drawn to us, especially DH, so he would hate it.

I'm sure having the money that comes along with it would be nice, but that would only help with all the craziness for soo long.

I would hate it. I don't like being recognized or treated differently when I go places and DH is very private and quiet. We love our life the way it is, and I feel like that would throw it into a tizzy.

thats funny because my friend's husband's office was approached about being a reality show... and we just had this discussion.

Either way I wouldn't handle it well. Thats why I always wanted to be behind the scenes in the industry, even though I love acting. I have no desire to be famous and have my life scrutinized.

I dont think the paparazzi would bother me...but the tabloid stories def would. The shitt they make up...that would be hard to ignore.

If DH became famous he would hate it because he hates people...HAHA.

i would hate it. I don't like being the center of attention and i would hate to have all these people following me and not giving me any privacy.

DH would probably love it though.

DH would definitely hate it. He doesn't like to be the center of attention.

I don't know think I would like it. I prefer a life of normalcy and with tabloids/paparazzi that probably wouldn't happen.

And I'm sure my MIL would love to spread some lies to the tabloids...no thanks!

I can't imagine it ever happening because DH hates reality TV, celebrities in general, and if for whatever reason it happened to him, he would be one of those miserable effers who go around punching the lights out of the paparazzi I'm sure. But, he totally has an ego, so maybe he'd like it?

If it happened to me, it'd be because my novel is doing so well and DH would just have to deal with it then.
