i think it is a lot of money, maybe you can borrow someones old phone for the two months, until your contract is up.

I think they charge $150 for early termination...not sure if they raised their prices tho.
You might be better off keeping ur account open for 2 more months and cancelling once ur contract is up...try downgrading to the cheapest plan for these 2 months and you can still get a new phone and contract with AT&T....that might be cheaper than paying a penalty for early cancellation.

Re: NWR
Its $175 termination fee per line. So if your hubby has a line too...it'll be another $175 for his also. I know beecause I just did the same thing BUT I went with Sprint and they bought out my verizon contract which was nice. Ask ATT...they may offer that option too.

Re: NWR
i am pretty sure the cancelation fee is upwards of $200 so I wouldnt cancel....can you borrow someones old phone? If not I would just pay your verizon bill for the 2 months and get the new contract with at&t....it just wouldnt be worth it to cancel...unless your monthly bill is over that amount
