NWR: Looking for an apartment...

In the NYC vicinity, but not on LI, or any of the borrows (unless you have a very good idea/offer). So pretty much Westchesterish or northern NJ.

FH just got a job offer, Banc of America Securities! So now for apt. hunting.

We are looking for prefrably a one or two bedroom (though we wil take studio for the first year), in a decent neighborhood, lots of grass.

Can be in a home or apt complex.

Looking to rent no earlier than January, no later than April.

Please FM me or just post if you know of a place or can offer a place. Thanks!

Re: NWR: Looking for an apartment...

what sort of price range. . .
Where I live noww, the Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon ( lower westchester) is decent & pretty affordabel as far as Westhcester goes. A lot of co-ops so it can be alittle hard to find a rental, but there are usually several list in the Journal News classifieds.

Re: NWR: Looking for an apartment...

We're going to be renting the apartment in our house right around that time. It's a ground level one bedroom apartment in White Plains. It's right out of the main town and in a nice residential area. It's pretty big for a one bedroom and you would have use of a patio and yard (though they would be shared with DH and I.) You would have parking for 2 cars in our driveway. We're looking for $1400 a month. Let me know if you're interested.
