NY houses are so damned expensive!

makes me sad to know that my friend is now in the process of buying a 4 bedroom house with a large chunk of land in Missouri for approx the same price that i paid for my 1-bedroom co-op.

freakin' depressing!

This is my argument when DH tries to tell me how we could rent a house in Ohio for what we spend on our apartment.

Dude...its freakin OHIO...what are you going to do with all that extra money, go to the hoe down???

I'm in Mooresville NC right now and we can get a 6000 square foot home w/a pool for $550K and I'll tell you right now I would give ANYTHING to get back to NY. DH made me actually go to a Renaissance Festival last weekend...a RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL.

ever watch House Hunters... it makes you want to cry when they start showing the prices of the beautiful houses they are looking at.

Thats why DH and I always talk about moving to Texas, we could buy a ranch for what our house costs.
