I got so excited because the idea of pancakes really got me excited when I read this thread! Don't get me wrong, ihop is legit...but it was definitely my tum doing the typing at that moment...

a beautiful friendship indeed...i am a pancake LOVER! but if this is the basis for friendship status, then you and my DH will be great chums! He's is a pancake junkie! He doesn't eat them that often but I would say they are potentially his fave food!

also, perhaps I can't entice you guys to come pay us a visit in jersey city because less than a quarter mile away is the Brownstone Diner which was featured on the food network for killer pancakes! they have the *best* traditional cakes as well as every combination under the sun!

DH's work friends keep telling him about this place in Jersey right over the bridge...he showed me the menu and they have over 100 different kinds of pancakes

I forgot what it was called though.

I love IHOPs speciality pancakes: like the seasonal praline pumpkin

. Strawberry is a close second. But I also love choco chip and blueberrie. The cinnamin pancakes from IHOP are also amazing. I don't discriminate- I love all pancakes equally (except banana- i hate bananas!)

Let's have a South Queens G2G at the IHOP on Liberty Ave.

Can you believe I live like 7 blocks from there and I've been there ONCE. Only because IHOP needs to be a once-in-a-blue-moon thing for me...anything more than that and I'll be the size of an International House.
