NYC Restaurant Help

So.. Next weekend We are going to Tao and to see the Cirque show on Broadway with my best friend and her fiance.. So I got that covered...

The FOLLOWING weekend DH and I have tickets to see Xanadu at 8pm and it's and hour and a half no intermission...

I figure we can grab a bite after but I am at a loss for WHERE.. I figure something not overly expensive with yummy food.. I kinda want to stay in the midtown/theatre district area.. We pretty much like everything except Indian..

Help Please!!! I don't know the city as well as I used to since I stopped working here and I feel like a f-in tourist now!!

Thanks Ladies

Becco is awesome. Not far from Xanadu
John's Pizzeria is great. Not a typical pizza place. The restaurant is in an old church.

I was literally JUST coming on here to post the same question (except we're just meeting friends for dinner on Friday)

& I JUST said to DH before coming to post on here that I feel like I don't know anywhere to eat in the city anymore since I stopped working there......

SO WEIRD!

WE saw Xanadu a few weekes ago. It's a fun show!
We were w/his theater kids so we ate at Hard Rock We were going to eat at Bubba Gump.
Um, I'm unhelpful We have eaten at a great Italian place by where Les Miz is. Carmine's? I don't remember the cost, though. Probably in the middle. It was yummy!!
Oh and Juniors, it's across from the Mariott Marquis.

Appetizers, desserts and drinks are good at Marriott's The View restaurant (lounge).

For dinner, try Bar Americain - fantastic food!
But you'll need to make reservations in advance.

I 3rd Becco. For pretty reasonable Italian you can also try 44 Southwest (44th/9th) - casual, but great food. 44X (44th and 10th) is also really great - a little hipper vibe, but also not too expensive.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Cascina (43rd/9th) and the food is great too (rustic Italian). There are also a TON of good Thai places on 9th ave. in the mid-40's.
