oahu restaurant recommendations

we are finally leaving for our belated honeymoon a week from today! we will be spending three nights in oahu. can anyone recommend a restaurant? we will be going to the polynesian cultural center for a luau one night.

Definitely add 'Alan Wongs' to your Oaho list. It is pricey but worth it!!! You def. need reservations!

Also 'Hy's steak house' is great!!!

Its not in Wikiki ( a little more towards Honolulu) - but worth the cabride...Pallominos...my friends bf was stationed there as a Marine and he took us there...it also has a martini lounge...it was really great...

they have a raw ahi appetizer ...which DH still raves about 3 years later...

there is also the tourist fave...Dukes...and there is a great restaurant above Dukes (but the name escapes me)

there is a restaurant in the halekulani hotel (I think....on the beach - almost the end of waikiki beach - towards honolulu) that you get the raw food (seasoned and prepared) and the waitress tells you how long and how to cook it...It sounds weird...but it is FABULOUS!!!

The place above Dukes is good, I think it is called Chucks, it is a also a steak house. But Dukes is also really good and great for lunch on the beach...
