Ok ladies so I am going to create a team since a few of you are definetly in for it.
The event is on April 27th, 2008 and its a 6 mile walk that you do at your OWN pace-NO powerwalking! We would just all meet and have a good time laughing our butts off and knowing we are burning calories AND helping babies!
I have two questions for anyone interested:
1. What should our team Name be?
I had originally thought TEAM NEWLYWED but I migh try and open it to any brides; past, present and future to get a better turnout so it might be better to choose a neutral name.
2. What do you think our goal amount should be to raise?
I in the past have made between 150-350 on good years. People are generally pretty generous and willing to support this march cause its for babies. But I do not want to set the goal too high. Whats a reasonable number you think? I would rather go lower than higher so if we exceed our goals, AWESOME, but if we do not, thats ok.

It is perfectly fine with me to use our name for the walk.I do prefer the entire name (LIWeddings) over the abbreviation (LIW).
About the amount. Well, don't take this too personally but you are thinking way too small. You should start with $1000. You can increase it when the time comes! And you will have to increase it!
Jenn you can count me in! I haven't done a walk for this charity in over 7 years. Way tooooo long.
I agree with Ron $1000 sounds like a nice start for this fundraiser goal. Ron would you & Liz be willing to donate? Perhaps even walk? I know the latter of the two might be difficult with baby Jennifer .

DUH this is Ron! I think Ron and Liz will be donating! Wait, let me ask myself..... ............. ............. .............. Yup. it's unanimous - Ron and Liz will donate!
Walking! Probably not. Jennifer is only 4 1/2 days old right now and will not be ready for the trek at the time of the walk. And I don't think Liz wants to whip out a teat in the middle of the walk!

thats sound like fun!! i'm in! i havent done it in like 5 years. didnt it used to be 10 miles? i remember doing it and then having to take the train home feeling that i would be in less pain if i just cut my feet off
