Some of the links i posted have really easy step by step things you can follow even if your just playing around with it.
Also my fav. youtube.com for specific tricks. but i know there are some people out there (hamptonsbride ) that know some quick tricks

Re: OFFICIAL PHOTOSHOP THREAD
I had posted a tutorial on b&w pics with just a small spot of it in color a long time ago...here's a link.
I took a class years ago at a place called The Center For Desktop Publishing in Garden CIty i think? It was in a building off of the parking lot at Roosevelt Field Mall...not sure if they still exist.
My favorite books to refer to are Visual Quick Start Guides..
Ok here's one I see used on alot of wedding photos...it's an 'ethereal glow' look that works well on whites....
open a pic...go under Filter>Distort>Diffuse Glow...and play with the settings to get the results you like...here are some examples...of before/afters..
ohhhhhhhhh kath thats such a cool trick, see i knew you would have good ones!!!

I'm curious--- what version of Photoshop is everyone using? I haven't bought one yet, and not sure if I can get away with just Elements or if I should just drop the money and get Pro. Any recommendations?

Re: OFFICIAL PHOTOSHOP THREAD
I use the fullblown version of Photoshop CS on a Mac...but i am a graphic designer so i need it...try downloading trial versions of Elements & full Photoshop to see which one meets your needs...also if you know a student or teacher you can get 'educational' versions for less...same software, you just promise not to make any $ with it..haha
