Sure Santa! Right now, I am subscribed to NO magazines! Aside from the bazillion catalogs that get left at my doorstep, the only periodical that comes to my home is the one DH works for!

However...if you want some hints...some mags that I would thoroughly enjoy having a regular subscription to are:

Parenting
Real Simple
Oprah (love her!)
Martha Stewart Living
Martha Stewart Kids
Good Housekeeping
Woman's Day
Cooking Thin (or any cooking mag)
Fitness (I used to subscribe to this, but stopped when I moved to CA)
Any home decorating mag

Hmmm....I'm trying to think of ideas that would fit the price range. Well, I just bought a new candle sconce for my bedroom...it holds 7 votives. The scents that would 'match' my decor are Yankee Candle's Sage and Citrus or Lilac Blossoms.


Also, I've been on the hunt for a recipe card book - one with plastic sleeves to protect the cards from spills and messes while you are cooking/baking. Right now, all my recipes are unorganized in a box, and I find them difficult to access b/c I don't have enough 'categories.'

Another idea that would make my life easier...I need a really nice coupon organizer...I spied one on MilesKimball.com that was very affordable and seemed nice.

But, if you really must know what's on my 'wish list'...I'd like my kitchen backsplash and floor moldings finished, the house re-sided, the deck redone and painted, install hardwood floors and buy furniture for my LR/DR and finally, have my guest room cleaned out and finished off. Is that too much to ask?

Hi Santa,

Do I like cooking? Well, if your idea is to get me a personal chef - then, NO! I hate cooking

But, if your idea is to get me something to make my everyday easier - then, YES! I enjoy cooking and love creating dishes that my family enjoys.
