DH and I just ran to my parents house to get my mail that still gos there and to pick up my wedding cake top and i wanted to taste a little of it because it tasted good at my wedding and OMG it tasted nasty and i only got married what about 3 months ago?! i cant wait to taste it a year from now LOL Just wanted to share that with you ladies lol

DH and I ate our top tier the few days we had before we left on our HM and gave the rest to a friend to enjoy.

yeah it was in the freezer. YUCK!!!!!! i dont think im going to want to eat it in a year from now lol

DH is Soo Funny about eating things that was in the Freezer. I'll probably taste alittle of the cake, I hope he does too. Just alittle taste.

we ate half of our cake top on our one month anniversary and it was DELICIOUS - just as good as the day of the wedding! We are saving the other half for the one year and hopefully it will taste just as good then too!

i wonder why some people's cakes taste wonderful and other's taste terrible. we ate ours over a year after our wedding and it was AMAZING- just as good as our wedding day. Maybe it's all in the wrapping before you freeze it- although we wrapped ours in tin foil which I later learned is a no no. But we also used a ziplock.
