Oh my - its so hideous!

Some of you know I had this idea of decoupaging pieces of our wedding cards to a wooden box to serve as a keepsake of the cards as well as a place to store stuff. A few of the other brides here did it sucessfully...

So Im so sick today and have been cooped up in the house...I finally decided to do the box. Sweet mary moses - it is really hideous! Its so uglyl I can't help but look at it and laugh!

I will have to post photos so you can laugh with me :D

I see. If I take a stab at it, I am using all the cards that will fit.

Well I think its just the colors that throw it off. The box is red and most of the cards look pink. I think if it was different combinations of color it would of looked nice.

Maybe it is the color that throws me off as well. I didn't overlap any of my cards when I did mine, I wanted them to stand out on their own. And I had a ton of cards to fit my box, but my box was smaller as well...we live and learn Stef!
