OK, fess up - who still has not picked pics for their albums yet???
Or am I the only one????
DH and I really want to give our parents their albums before the end of the year (maybe Christmas gifts?) and of course I'd love to have my own album! But we have like ZERO motivation to take out that box of 900 printed pics and/or go through the 3,200 we have on disc. Seriously. And never mind that we still haven't picked songs for our video I know it's one of those things where once you start, you get into the swing of things and will probably pick out all the pics and songs relatively quickly, but ahhhhhhhh there always seems to be so many other things to do!

i know the feeling!!!
I JUST picked my pictures a few weeks ago. It's true though, once you get going it's not as hard as you would think. I just kept making piles of the proofs i liked and narrowed it down till I had the right number. Good luck!!

Me! We still haven't done our video either. We've been so lazy with the post-wedding duties.

yes! It's like, wow, so many pics, how do you start to narrow it down - seems like a huge task!
But yeah, I'd try to get it done before baby since I'm sure you'll be with baby and busy.

i'm not even thinking about it. as long as the photog and video guy aren't breathing down my neck, i'm taking my sweet time. But my MIL already asked me for pics.... I might just make her an album and give it to her for christmas to keep her quiet for a while

Me. I'm aiming to have everything in to the photographer by our one year anniversary. I havnt even gotten the pictures together for the video-absolutely no morivation

you're not alone.. goal was before our 1 yr and that has now past.. have it on the frig as a reminder to get that done and the video songs..
now that wedding season will approach a slow season its a good time to get this done...since the photographer will have more time.. thats my excuse ;)

I have 'em narrowed down, though we haven't finalized our choices and submitted them to Duet yet!! I only submitted the video order 2 weeks ago, and that was only b/c I watched Mimi's video from Duet and that really motivated me!!! and a week after the video she got the layout of her album e-mailed to her, I loved it so much that it really pushed me to crack open those proofs!!

We just got our albums and parents albums a couple of weeks ago. We love them! It was such a relief, we're glad its over.
It was definately thanks to DH, he is a lot more practical and decisive, I was very overwhelmed about it. The photographer was also very helpful, they helped with the very last part and we let them do the layout for us; when it was time to approve it, we loved it and didn't have to change a thing.
