DH and I really want to give our parents their albums before the end of the year (maybe Christmas gifts?) and of course I'd love to have my own album! But we have like ZERO motivation to take out that box of 900 printed pics and/or go through the 3,200 we have on disc. Seriously. And never mind that we still haven't picked songs for our video I know it's one of those things where once you start, you get into the swing of things and will probably pick out all the pics and songs relatively quickly, but ahhhhhhhh there always seems to be so many other things to do!

I still haven't picked out pics for my album and my mom hasn't done hers either---I still have to do my video too and finish my TY's...

I'm glad I am not the only one!!! I am going on Saturday to finally work on the layout and of course DH and I will be picking them out on Friday night!!!!!
I never thought it was take me this long, but I kept postponing my appointment with the photography and now it's finally here!

Man, Yesi, I never woulda thought you'd drag your feet on your album! You and I were so fast and furious with wedding planning! I was a little psycho with getting mine done fast anyway- I had weeks off before school so I got it done.
Sit down with someone you trust - not even Luis. You need someone really objective. They can help you narrow it down. My sister was great for that! I can only imagine how tough it must be for you- your pics were beyond phenomenal.
I think this is why I'm so excited about seeing my pics on Duet's site- my wedding has been 'over' for a long time - I got my album months ago so I'm done with the post-wedding stuff! I never got to prolong it like you girls did!

LOL, I would have thought I'd get it done quickly too, but alas that is NOTTTTT the case I guess I lost motivation after it was done - honestly I think that there are just SOOOO many pics so it seems so daunting to narrow it down. Great idea about sitting down with someone else - I had thought about this before but I feel like I at least have to narrow it down first, you know? Otherwise they may look at me like I have 3 heads ('you want me to sit here with you and go through 1000 printed pics and another 2000 on disc???' lol).
How cool that our proofs are on Duet's site??? And thank you Tara for the pic compliment!!! Yours were fab too! I'm totally jelly that I didn't get a cathedral veil shot like the one you have on the pier!!!

we have not!!! and the sad part is, i am not sure if we will end up getting one or not...
an album costs $1100 and we just dont have that kind of money right now... and now with our little one coming along, i doubt we'll ever get one...

I am so glad I saw this post because I have yet to pic my pictures for my album. I have been home all summer and I have no motivation to choose my pictures. I was feeling bad about it but, now I feel better knowing I am not alone

i'm so glad i'm not the only slacker!!!! my goal is to finish picking before 1 yr, so i've got 3 more weeks. i did narrow it down to 112 last night though, although that's still WAY too many

I have over 100 picked out but I feel like I should still narrow it down.. and don't even get me started that I haven't did the songs for my video yet

I just picked my pics but have not submitted them to the photog and do not have my video - but that is not due to my hold up!
I had lost my motivation for a while, but luckily I got it back this week - I guess bc my anniversary will be here before I know it!

I haven't picked out all my photos yet for the album. I just don't feel motivated to do it! It's one of my goals to get done before summer ends.
