I have a wedding to go to in january...it is at a very fancy mansion upstate...I got this dress to wear (an am excited to wear leggings under it so i dont freeze lol) but am not sure what color shoes to wear...its a brown dress..there is a olivey green color ribbon on it but you cant really tell..I have champagne shoes that i adore and want to wear but am not sure...the brown is tough to match...any thoughts? Help!

Love your dress! I say gold shoes or even bronze -- though it's hard to tell the 'tone' of the brown in the pictures.

Me personally- I would get a closed toe shoe for the January wedding. Those sandals are very cute but a tad too summery in my opinion. I would go with a closed toe pump.
They actually are just about closed to be honest...and im not really a pump person...not with a fancy gown really...what kinda pump were you thinking? maybe im just not picturing the right thing?
Like a closed satin pump. Let me see if I can find something... BTW, the one that TwoIfBySea posted is more wintery to me even though it's open toed.

That first pic looks purple and the 2nd looks brown. With the purple color I would have said black shoes... but since the dress is actually brown I think what you have planned is just fine.

When I saw the dress (very pretty by the way) I immediately thought gold shoes. But, the champagne shoes will look just a nice and if you really love them I say go for it...they absolutely will look great with the dress..
