Ok since I haven't really been posting for a while

Hi!

I must say that I HAVE been popping on lurking and have been posting more on LIF

Things have been pretty hectic this year so far. I started a new job in Sept and it has been good. MIL's health had taken a big turn for the worst and Patrick was in Ireland for 5 weeks (I flew over with him, flew home alone, and then back again) Unfortunately it got to the point where she was not going to recover and made the difficult decision to stop dialysis. Patrick was the best son ever, never left her side, and and we were with her when she passed.

After seeing other people in the hospice and how precious life is, I made the decision to stop smoking. It was one month yesterday!

Other than that things are going good, just trying to be there for DH.

sorry to hear about your loss! but congratulations on quitting smoking, I used to smoke and quitting was no easy feat! good for you!

So sorry to hear about your MIL, but congrats on the quitting smoking! It's hard but can be done. I will be cig free 7 1/2 years, but sometimes, I still get an urge, but know that I can never go back.
