ok so im going to really concentrate on writing my review

once i get my proofs, im going to attempt it..

but have no idea where to start!!

LONG time cause it was massive lol. I did it bits at a time-took about a week. Inserting the picstures is the worst.

This is my problem......how and where to start!

Did you ladies create your review in Word or some other program and then copy it over??

If so, would any one mind sharing how to do this?

I started writing mine while I was still engaged (there was NO way I would remember everything otherwise)... but I haven't finished it yet. We had an issue with one of our vendors and we've been trying to resolve it before I posted my review - and since I've been waiting on this one issue, I've been lazy with finishing reviewing some minor vendors too.

I'd like to post it some time this month.

I wrote a lot of it before we got married - that's the problem with getting married in November I guess

yup same here!! if i started it in word.. i dont understand how you get the pictures on word, and copy and paste it on here and have all the pictures come up...

ladies please help us!!

You can insert pictures from reply page. Under all the emote icons the third link down is INSERT WEB IMAGE click on that and it will ask for a address. To get the address right click on the picture you want to insert and scroll down to properties. when the properties window pops up copy he url address and insert that as the address. Does that make any sense.

it took me a full weekend to write mine, adding the pics took a lot of time.......but here's a tip on adding them.

Right within my review in word, I inserted the 'picture' command that LIW uses, example:



I purposely kept the beginning and end separate so when I found pics I wanted to use I right clicked, went to properties and copied (cntrl+C) the address. Once I pasted it (cntrl +V) I noticed it was automatically inserting a space after the first part (
To me this made the inserting of pics soooooo much easier, I copied this:

over & over in the review under each section where I knew I'd want to insert pics. And also I could take my time selecting pics rather than start my review and have to keep going back to edit it.

I hope this makes sense!!

ETA- this is too funny!!! it was attempting to post a pic (duh! should've realized that would happen!), this is what you should type (I inserted a SPACE on purpose after the bracket so it will display it and not try to insert a pic)

Oh and to answer the original questuion I still didn't write mine. I didn't get my proofs on a cd but i swear one day I will scan some in and write up a review.
One of my vendors went over the top for me. He was so helpful and really did an amazing job. I noticed he had a few bad reviews on here from people that didn't even use him. I think I owe it to wonderful companies like his to do a nice review. In case I don't keep my word and never do a review and his name gets searched Kevin from Camelot Tuxedo in West Babylon was the best!!!!

i typed 90% of my review on our flight home from the HM and then went back and added all the details i couldn't remember. DH actually helped me!

Upload them to photobucket, resize if you want to (you resize by clicking on each picture-above the picture will be the resize button) all you do is take the Image code they give you (under each picture) and just copy and paste it into your review where you want it. It was alot easier then uploading them to a LIW album and going back and forth.
