okay kind of annoyed now.....

I emailed Duet this morning regarding my TY cards and also asking about some pics on the unedited disc. I was told that they edit their fav 500 but I honestly think they just randomly chose 500. I have sooo many better pics unedited that they didn't touch up. So I asked how I could have them edited and they said I have to sublit them for my album and I wouldn't see them edited until the album approval. What if I don't like them then though.

I was told at our meeting with Eric if there are any we want edited they will do it and give us hard proofs of those as well.

Ughhh I am so not in the mood to fight with them today.

Some of my 'edited' pics dont even look edited!! They look the same as the others. I dont understand what edited means!!

They dfinitely just choose 500 randoms. I had an edited picture of a leaf. Nothing else, just a big old leaf. Ugh, this is discouraging, I was planning on calling them today for a new CD and seeing about editing some of the other photos, too! Good luck! Let me know how you make out!

Yea I mean I have 2 of the exact same pic of matt and I and then there is a major photobomb in the back of one and the other is pretty and they edit the freaking photobomb! I'll get an example for you to see what I mean

I want to laugh about the leaf but I just can't bc I feel bad - that sucks. Also because I am gearing up for a 'convo' with B r e t t m a t t h e w s regarding my proofs....calling in 15 mins. Ya that's right...15 mins - I've planned this out for days now.

um.. i didn't use duet, i used patken, but i feel almost the same way. i was just over-all very UNHAPPY with them.

i think you should call and just freak the freak out on them. they should edit the pictures YOU want edited. YOU'RE paying all that money, they are providing a service...

agreed but that doesn't even bother me too much I understand they were working and some times they will get in the shot.. but hello my SIL really????

I just told them I feel like the 500 were chosen at random and I'm not happy!

No... I was fighting with the guy who answered he said he has to talk to Eric the guy I signed the contract with to see what he says.

Ugh I'm sorry. Well stay strong and don't budge! That's my motto. We had some issues with our photog leading up to the wedding. Its just so annoying when you stop and think about how much cash money was involved to secure their services.

Ugh....I'm also a Duet bride, and while I haven't really had any problems with them yet, I haven't gotten my proofs back yet. So sorry you're not happy with them.

thank you. I have been happy with them. I mean they take beautiful pictures I just dont' understand some of their policies. I mean if they aren't going to edit the few other pictures I LIKE then they should just let every bride choose THEIR favorite 500 from the get-go so everyone is happy and they dont end up doing extra work

We came to an agreement though. I am pleased to say, although it took some arguing I am happy with them once again.
