Ok...the weddings over......so now what do I do with my dress?

Am I suppossed to have it preserved or something like that? Can someone recommend a good place in the Queens or Nassau area? Also, how much will this cost? Thanks girls.

You can have it preserved if you want to. We brought it to VIP Tuxedos who gave us a great deal since we rented our tuxes from them. I only paid $50 for it, but I hear other places charging about $150 for cleaning/preserving/boxing.

I got mine cleaned and preserved at my cleaners - a local shop in NHP. It was $125. I can't part with it ... but some girls sell thier dress.

I got mine cleaned, preserved, and boxed. $150. Not happy about the price, but what can I do? I didn't have time to shop around, it got REALLY DIRTY on the bottom so I wanted to get it to be cleaned the day after the wedding. I should have shopped for a place BEFORE the wedding.
