I have heard of wedding horror stories but this would piss me off.

The MOH did not show up to the wedding..How in the heck can you justify not showing up. I mean MOH is like the highest honor you can get.

and yet another...the catering hall charged a cash bar when it was sopposed to be an open bar so guests had to pay for drinks until the bride arrived and sorted the mess out..

That cash bar part reminds me of how my bathroom attendants were asking my guests for tips...and NO ONE told me until after my honeymoon! I WISH they would have told me that day! I swear, I would have marched in there and 'straightened' it all out...

I believe the part about the MOH...people are weird. Especially when they're in the bridal party. I mean think about what it's like being in the bridal party. It's like, yeah, you're OKAY, but you're not THE BRIDE...

Not like that means BMs and MOHs are justified in being no-shows, but some probably get all huffy and decide that they'd rather be at home...

Do you know these people?

IMO, something had to happen between the bride & MOH prior to the wedding for presumably the bride's closest friend or relative to not show up at the wedding.

What ever the situation, it's pretty freaked up that she was a no show.

No dont know them. Just hear about it. But my goodness..it had to be pretty darn bad to pay for a dress etc and then not come.

That's what I am thinking. I can't imagine how mad I would have to be to blow off someone's wedding like that. I would feel terrible not showing up as a guest. As the MOH the bride would have to sleep with my DH or something.

That's what I am thinking. I can't imagine how mad I would have to be to blow off someone's wedding like that. I would feel terrible not showing up as a guest. As the MOH the bride would have to sleep with my DH or something.

To be honest with you, I would not mind if my moh did not show up.

She behaved so wacky...that another bm had to put her in her place informing her that this is not her wedding...this is my wedding. But, she had it coming to her.
