OMG---Ga---I mean CLAY AIKEN has impregnanted someone?!?

granted it looks like he didn't do the deed himself (seriously couldn't he at least have done it the old fashioned way so people would squash some of the gay rumors he always denies)

but here's the article from TMZ--

TMZ has learned Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy. In case you didn't process that, Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy.

Here's what we know. Multiple sources tell us the mother is Jaymes Foster, a record producer and Clay's best friend. He lives at her home when he's in L.A.

We're told Foster, who produced several Aiken CDs, is due in August. She's the sister of record mogul David Foster. We're told she's in her late 40's, though we could not confirm her exact age. She divorced a few years back and has no kids. Aiken is 29.

We're told Foster was artificially inseminated. But Clay is a lot more than sperm -- we're told he will have an active role in raising the child.

No immediate word from Aiken's rep.

in reading the story, its not like theyre 'together' or anything....THAT would be a weirder story. just sounds like he was the donor but he will still have some involvement in the child's life.

Clay and Jaymes are not a couple never have been. She was married for 23 years and never had kids. Clay has said on many occassions that he wants kids. He was nothing more than a sperm donor BUT

and really why the nasty and homophobic comments? I thought we were all adults here? If Clay is gay and wants to come out he will but that has no effect on the type of person he is. Maybe you all need to learn to be a bit more accepting of other people

honestly you have to chillax about it. as a 'Claymate' i would think that you would be used to the jokes about him. and please don't assume you know about how 'accepting' any of us are about someone who is gay. i'm probably one of the most accepting people you will EVER MEET when it comes to gay men & women. i have no issues with anyone who is gay, and never will. my deal with him is that chances are pretty freaking good he is gay....but he vehemently denies it all the time. i think people would have so much more respect for him if he just came clean and stopped with the denial. heck my gay friends that i talk to and hang out with are the ones who probably bash him more than anyone i know...they have zero respect for him. and honestly no one had 'gay bashing' comments on here, we joked about his probable gay tendencies.

and you're right, his sexuality has nothing to do with the type of person he is. which is why straight or not, i would think hes an uber douchebag. i've seen him in interviews and on tv and quite frankly i think he totally sux and is a jerk. sorry that you're a 'claymate' or whatever its called, but i don't like him personality wise at all whether he likes sausage or taco.

I dont think anyone made 'homophobic' comments....saying he is gay is not being a homophobe or making a homophobic comment. And I agree with melissa, I have a handful of friends that are gay and everytime a convo comes up about him they all do the same thing 'woop woop my gay dar is full blast' and go on and on about how he is SOO in the closet and needs to just come out already. I dont like him, probably never will but that isnt bc he is or isnt gay-he just creeps me out-but I guess to each his own. You can like him and you can defend him-but homophobic comments-nuh uh not homophobic in the least
